Disney’s “sea-inspired” merchandise is making a comeback, as it is expected to be rolled out in 2018.
The “Sailing Seas” line will feature sea-themed merchandise that will be available in stores.
It will include Tiki torches, sea life, a boat, and a pirate ship, the company said.
The line will also include a sailboat, a raft, a beach party, a ship’s mast, and more, Disney said.
Tiki torches will be part of the line, as will a boat.
The “sea” portion of the theme will be more of a “fluttery feel,” according to Disney.
Disney also said it will roll out an app for children and families that will offer information about upcoming shows and movies.
It also said the app will have more “influencers,” meaning Disney’s brands and content will be accessible to more people.
Disney’s CEO, Bob Iger, is expected at the company’s annual shareholders meeting on Wednesday.
The company is rolling out “Sailors Seas” in more than 40 stores, including in cities across the United States.
