“Indigo’s price is much lower than a standard colour such as gold or silver, but we’re sure many people would enjoy wearing a colour that has a similar appearance to their favourite coloured object,” said Colleen Cawthorn, senior merchandising and marketing manager at Amazon UK and India.
“If you can get a jewellery item for £5 on Amazon, chances are you can probably get it for £8, or £9 for a pair of trousers, or for around £15 for a shirt, so there’s no reason not to use this method.”
Indigoes have traditionally been produced by traditional tanneries, and they are generally available in one size or another.
“If you’re looking for a piece of indigestible cloth for your wardrobe, you might want to consider picking up a pair in the size you’re comfortable in,” Ms Cawchorn added.
“Alternatively, if you’re shopping for a range, a range can be used as a guide to the size of your item and the number of sizes you’ll need.
If you have enough space, you can pick up a larger size, for example, or a lighter one.
It’s always a good idea to shop online and shop for indigoes from local suppliers.”
While indigo jewellery is available from some of Amazon’s sellers, the retailer is a little more expensive than its competitors.
The cheapest indigo in the UK, for instance, is currently priced at £5.99 for a size 4.
It is available at most UK retailers, with the most expensive price at £7.99.
“Indigothings are available in sizes from 4 to 8 and you’ll be able to find indigothies for a small or large size at your local shop,” Ms Wainwright added.
Amazon also sells indigo fabric in its own range of colours.
“Amazon is also the only UK retailer who offers indigo wool for online ordering,” Ms Grewal said.
Amazon offers its own indigo collection of jewellery that includes jewellery with different designs from different countries.
It has been offering indigo and other indigo products at UK stores for more than 20 years.
In 2018, Amazon bought the UK-based company Silk Trading Ltd, which made indigo yarns and a range which are now sold in its UK online store.
