US retailer Walmart is set to begin selling its merchandise online for a low price of $6 in the United States on April 5.
Walmart’s online store for women, men, and children, which is part of the e-commerce giant’s “B2ST Online” business, will have a new offering, the retailer said on its blog.
The new offer includes items including shirts, sweaters, dresses, pants, and accessories from brands like Banana Republic, Zara, Urban Outfitters, and Zara.
The retailer’s website says it will be available starting on April 6.
Wal-Mart also has an e-shop, Walmart’s online shopping hub, available at no cost in the US.
It offers “some of the widest selection of merchandise and services on the internet,” according to the company’s website.
It’s not clear what merchandise will be offered on the new offering.
Walmart’s new offering does not include items sold in other stores and does not appear to include the company, the blog said.
It did not say when it would begin selling the new online offering.
In August, the US department store chain announced that it was moving into the ecommerce business and would start selling its clothing, shoes, and other items online for the first time.
